Sony's High End Slim Cam - Sony DSC-T300

The T300 is Sony's newest high-end slim camera features 10.1 effective-megapixels sensor, a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with 5x optical zoom and large, a wide 6:9 3.5 inch Clear Photo LCD Plus touchscreen add the zing to the cam. The camera can dynamically switch between five scene modes, trigger the shutter when it detects a smile, face detect with priority for adults and children, search through photos by face, improved focusing at close distance, image stabilization and a high Sensitivity ISO or Intelligent Scene Recognition offers a chance at capturing the perfect shots. It can output 1080p slideshows to an HDTV. $400. Unfortunately, it does use a Memory StickDuo, and that 3200 ISO rating can't be anything but grainy.

Sony T300 has a variety of colors to choose from - couture silver, black and red finishes, the T300 stands apart from other cameras with its svelte lines and audacious vertical-format styling. The T300 makes it easy to keep track of your shots after shooting. New 'Date View' mode displays your shots as thumbnail images on an on-screen calendar, while 'Favorites' mode only displays shots that you've selected. The 'Filter by Faces' feature automatically sorts pictures containing children, babies and smiles. The Cyber-shot T300 will all be available throughout Europe from beginning March 2008 at $400
