Samsung I5500 Corby

I'm not a fan of using Samsung phones, they've got a variety of shapes and sizes but this one kinda looks cool - the Samsung I5500 Corby that will run Android and become the first Corby to earn a smartphone degree.

As of now sources still don't know much about this new Corby, except that it recently got a Wi-Fi certification for the b/g/n protocols. It received FCC certification as well, obviously a 3G, Bluetooth and GPS for the Samsung I5500. The camera resolution is unknown, but it probably won't be more than 3MP.

The rumors add Android 2.1 Eclair and Corby branding to the mix and an expected price of 200 euro putting it at the low end of the price range for an Android phone.

Samsung I5500 Corby photo still kept tightly under warps so we still don't have a clue what it looks like. The photo on top is a quick mockup.

Samsung U600 Black Gold Limited Edition

Old wine in new bottle always works. And that’s exactly the thumb of rule for Samsung has followed with the Samsung U600 Black Gold limited edition.

The New Samsung U600 hit the market, in first quarter of this year. But to revive its charisma, it has been given a luxurious facelift by adding a hint of gold to the all black phone. Hence along with the honor of being the thinnest of the phones in Samsung’s Ultra Edition II line-up, you can now go for the slimmest and the most attractive cell phone, the Samsung U600 Black Gold limited edition. However for those looking for more enhanced techy features need to sit down as other then the looks, nothing else has been touched upon.

Specs:

The Samsung U600 is part of the amazing collage of slim phones by the company. In a league which includes the U700 and the U300 we find the U600, a slider with a 3.2 megapixel camera. This ones just 10.9 mm in thickness and has a 2.2” LCD display screen. It supports file formats like MP3, ACC, eAAC+ and WMA. It also has 60MB of memory and if that shall prove less for you (most likely it will) then you can use the microSD slot to increase your storage. With the EDGE, GPRS Class 10 and GSM quad-band 850/900/1800/1900 MHz support, the U600 is most probably the first among the Ultra Slim, Ultra Stylish phones to hit the US.
